Joanne Boswell and Debbie Grimes, mother and daughter, have enjoyed needle work all their lives. From cross stitch, embroidery, needlepoint, crochet, and knitting, the two have created many pieces. One of the biggest accomplishments was helping needlepoint the fifteen kneelers at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. Sister Barnes spearheaded the project back in 2000 and it took 5 years to complete. Joanne and Debbie still enjoy creating pieces for their friends and family.
